It is our goal is to produce beautiful carved signs, 
sculptures, and furniture that will survive for generations. The study of American Culture has taught us that those pieces that have survived from the past were collected, valued and maintained.
We guarantee all work produced in this studio. There will be no defects caused by poor craftsmanship, manufacture, machining or engineering.
Installation hardware and supporting fixtures will equal or surpass the strength and quality required by code for such installations.
Wooden blank assembly is guaranteed against delaminating for the working life of the sign. Spanish Cedar is guaranteed against dry rot for the working life of the sign, which here means the period during which the sign is in service and properly maintained. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide yearly maintenance.
Finish describes the surface of the sign, whether stained, painted or gold leafed. A properly maintained sign finish is guaranteed to last ten years. After ten years we will attempt to contact the customer to schedule refinishing and extend the working life another decade.
This background photo dates from 1985 and shows a corner of the sign shop. My Dad is in the foreground wearing a Phillies cap. Despite being made of Pine wood, which proved prone to dry rot, some of the signs from this period have survived thanks to regular maintenance.
